if i shower in the morning because i need to bring my son to school just avoid a messy look but then only after that i have time for the gym...is it good to have another shower? how bad is for our body skin and face also?
I have dry mature skin. A Sephora rep sold me a toner called Laneige Essential Power skin toner for normal to dry skin. I keep hearing that if you have dry skin alcohol is your worst enemy. I didn’t realize until two weeks after purchase of the toner that the third ingredient in the bottle is alcohol. Should I stop using this toner? You gals have so much knowledge and I highly respect you. I hope that you can educate me and let me know whether this choice of toner is a good or bad one?. Thank you in advance! 😃🇨🇦
I have being in acné treatment with minocycline for two months I didn't use makeup everyday and now my face is Better than ever I just washed my face one time keep my hands clean I use a cream that Hydrate my skin and don't cause more acné Andrés and clindamicine cream just put it on my spots and believe me it was ok and my face is cool now. Now I'm going to clear my face because some sides are darker
Can you make a video of how to use different types of facial oil? Which step that I actually have to apply them? (Some said that it’s a dry oil, apply before any serums and actually it works but I did watch your channel that I have to apply the last step because it’ll block the others and it’s really make sense) i’m a bit confused about this.
what if you shower and after showering your skin just kinda gets dry not because of you washing your face in the shower but just water in general. what is the necessary steps for that kinda situation? haha is my question too complicated? :p
Hi can you please make video of pregnancy safe product that are good for both of your skin types (what acids are safe, etc...) and list everything down bellow! It will help most women who are trying to keep their skin healthy and glowing during the pregnancy too🌸❤️
I don't know If you have it in the US but you should try Ceramol products. I've been using a cleanse that has a milk like consistency and is realy light, perfect for people with sensitive skin and dry.
I wash only my face during shower and b4 sleep daily 1.)wash w/ st.ives oatmeal 2.)Thayer witch hazel toner 3.) rosehip oil 4.) pigmanorm cream @ the morning I clean by toner again. I'm acne prone too so I love to share the products that's works for me.
Can somebody please tell me how I can know if my skin is dry, oily or combination skin? I don’t break out but I do have white heads all over my T Zone area. It’s more concentrated on the area just beside my nose, but I still can’t tell if I have an oily, dry or combination skin!
Quite a few misconceptions and oversimplifications in this video (I.e. saying alcohol dries out skin when in fact only some do)...
And how do you not know how to wear foundation but you wear CC cream? They’re literally the same thing.
Since some of you on this channel are from Australia, I would love to hear your opinion about the skincare brand sukin and maybe give some suggestions for an oily/combination/acne prone skintype? thanks!
I love to follow you and receive so amazing tips and tricks.
A lot of the products you recommend are actually comedogenic. Everyone's skin is different, but if you're recommending products for acne, you should make sure there's no chance that they'll clog your pores. Here's my favorite resource: www.cosdna.com
Thanks for these tips but wearing makeup doesnt automatically mean you will break out, and people who do wear makeup shouldn't feel ashamed that they do. As you said in the intro, some people are just more prone to breaking out.
Squirt a few drops of antibacterial dish soap on your fingers or a toothbrush and scrub the bristles and crevices first. Rinse well. To disinfect it, soak it in 10% hydrogen peroxide for at least five minutes. Rinse again and air dry.
OMG shipping of that vanity brush is almost double what it costs with the discount applied!!! 😟😟😟 Was really considering it up until that point 😓😓😓
Thanks so much for these tips especially about the sunscreen suggestions. I have constantly had the issue where sunscreen breaks me out but I never leave the house without it so my skin was always bad 😢
ooooo....i’ve been using my vanity planet for a 5months and it’s so good, in my opinion even better than clarisonic. my face got the worst breakouts when i was still using the clarisonic. 😭
and vanity planet are a lot cheaper so 👍
If you guys don't know about it yet, CosDNA.com is a website that you can put the name of a product in the bar and it will give you the list of ingredients in that product with a scale of how likely it is to cause breakouts, how harmful it is to your skin, and any UV protection. would highly recommend using that before buying a product.
i don't wear makeup, more like i can't. i always had a bad relationship with makeup. my skin would get itchy and would feel like i'm burning. i sadly neglected my skin during my teen years and now I'm staring to care for it. I've made many mistakes with simple cleaning habits, not realizing when a product is hurting you and how costly buying the wrong product can do and it honestly would discourage me from caring for my skin. things i do now is researching on ingredients and taking pics of products that are working for me because sometimes the product i love are no longer available at the store or discontinue. i try to match out the ingredients using the picture i have. another thing I try to see is if it's available in a smaller size/travel size so i can test it out, Safeway and Walmart have travel size products not sure of others. some beauty stores (Korean beauty stores) do give out sample products when you spend a certain amount/buy a certain product, they usually don't handover random samples, they give you similar times to what your purchase is. some of these range by what the season is, samples of: sunscreen, cleansing creams, face creams, eye creams, mist toners, serums, sleep creams,. don't be afraid to ask if you can see what other samples they have, so you can switch out the ones they gave you. my husband was able to help me with my skin, he's oily and I'm dry skin, he advised me to use face masks that are rice, snail and cucumber. and one thing i noticed is be careful when using a item with the product, in other words, I used a microfiber facial cleaner and that thing break me out. it gave me a nasty pimple the side of my nose and how i have a scar there, when i got it I thought just a pimple it'll go away but it didn't and it grew and it gave me terrible headaches. the pimple was warm and very sensitive to touch. i wasn't trying to blaming the item so i tried it again but on a small arm area and it did the same damage. as of lately I've been using a flat silicone scrubber and its helping a lot. you want an item that will dry off well and i don't leave it in the bathroom, i leave it to dry in my room, i keep most my my face products in my room.
Thank you SO MUCH for this! I cut down cleaning my face once a day because I have very dry skin during winter, and my face was still super dry! I didn’t know what else to do, but next time I’ll look out for no alcohol in my face cleanser! 💖💖
Hi guys! New to your channel, found it last night, and I am in LOVE! So informing and helpful to us wannabe skincare gurus. I have a question about using a vitamin C and Retinol serum. What kind of cleanser do you suggest using? I have never reaped the benefits of the serum because I believe my face wash is not allowing the serum to work its full affect. I currently use the cetaphil pro for oily skin and the moisturizer in the morning because I do have oily skin, but want to switch things up a bit! Please help a girl out!
Unfortunately, I have a lot of hyperpigmentation around my face and I no longer work from home so wear foundation . I don't use primer anymore just when I have pig events. But for everyday I place setting powder after my sunscreen, then concealer, then foundation, then my finishing/ setting powder, and then a setting spray. I use the COsrx cushion and covers up really well and too face concealer.
But I will definitely look up that cc cream for when I am traveling.
I have oily skin & my favorite moisturizer is the Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free. It has aloe vera, bamboo, & salicylic. Its been 3 years & my skin has looked amazing. I even use it in the winter since the aloe & salicylic acid do wonders for my skin
it really depends on your skin type! the daily cleanser brush head is gentle enough to use daily. OK to use with acne as well 👍🏻 slowly incorporate it into your routine though starting with 1-2/week to see how your skin reacts to it
Ciara Creagh-Peschau 99% of these recommendations are NOT for sensitive skin. Manual exfoliation, fragrance, denatured alcohol and many chemical exfoliant have a potential for inflammation on sensitive skin.
is it okay to use handmade soap? i am planning to buy handmade facial soap and its made from tomato and honey, i am switching from simple facial facewash (gel) because it doesnt help my bumps on forehead at all :/
You’re both so beautiful ☺️❤️
And yeah I have to be really careful with my conditioner. My hair is like almost down to my bum and I have to leave the conditioner in with a clip keeping it off of my back, chest, and arms or it causes breakouts. I get breakouts on my chest, ingrown hairs on my legs, and keratosis on my arms, (so annoying) so I use a tea tree body wash from the brand Jason on those areas while my shampoo is in, use a creamy moisturizing body wash everywhere while my conditioner in my hair, clipped up, and then I have to rinse my conditioner out leaning over so my hair doesn’t touch my body. If it touches my body I rinse it off with the tea tree body wash again. Then I use lotion when I get out. Sometimes I’ll use a cleansing oil on my body to try to get my keratosis to chill out too. My hair is super long and fine so I have to use like a briogeo thickkkk conditioner or I can’t brush it out, and I have to leave my conditioner in for a while, so I kind of have to wash my body with my conditioner in.
My skin is VERY combo on my face and my body and it really likes to try me 😂 my skincare gets pretty complicated lmao
all skincare. its designed to, if not all look at your ingredients. ive always hated having a few pimples but products made it worse. i just oil cleanse using my own oil cleanser, it helped me get rid of most skin problems.
