I was going to get pissed if y’all said that coconut oil is awesome for your skin. Legit every YouTuber says that coconut oil is fabulous but last time I used it I had such a bad breakout I didn’t go to school.
Hi there! My pores only seem to respond to toners with alcohol, specifically Neutrogena fight and fade toners. Everytime I use gentle toners my pores are HUGE! Kindly help as i'd like to use gentle products on my face. Love the video!
And don’t put to much stuff on your skin, usually it absorbs the first product you put the most... then maybe a bit of others but don’t put to much... if you use natural products it’s even better btw... cider vinagre although it smells it’s amazing for the face...
If you have acne-prone/oily skin I wouldn't recommend using coconut oil on your skin because it can easily be too heavy and clog your pores if you don't get rid of it properly. I would say use a cleansing oil or cleansing balm instead that works well to take off makeup but is also easy to wash off. But you can try the coconut oil and see if your skin reacts well or badly, and if there's no effects then keep on using it! Make sure you wash it off with a cleanser (double cleanse) afterwards though! 😘- fel
Thank you girls. I really appreciate that you explain how and why our skin reacts to the DONTS.....your examples stick in my mind making it easy to remember. Well done ! Note to self...eat less sugar! 👍👍🙏😘🇨🇦
My skin has pores, but they're not all big, maybe 2-3. My skin looks clear if I'm like 30cm away from the mirror, but when i look closely i have pimples on the side of my face and nothing happens to them, they dont disappear or become worse( they kinda do, cuz i keep touching my face), but my question is how to get rid of those small pimples???😭
We don't come from a place or idea of being perfect, we just like to share through experiences what has helped and what hasn't so that people who are also struggling with these problems can relate and learn and take what they can from it. If we had 'perfection' or perfect skin, we wouldn't have gone through any of the problems and issues regarding skin, and wouldn't be speaking from the truth. So what we try to show is the real and the raw. If your skin is doing really well that's great and you're actually one of the fortunate ones, because most people are insecure and struggling with some form of skin insecurity - and we're no different. Just sharing our thoughts. Thanks for the comment, we appreciate everyones opinions!💫- fel
I've been seeing a lot of toners used as sprays lately that absorb into the skin. I was under the impression that toner was to get any dirt off the skin that the cleanser missed. I've been applying it to cotton balls and then lightly exfoliating my skin with it. There is usually dirt on the pad from doing that so it seemed like the toner was working. Am I not supposed to do that or does it not really make a difference?
I’m 12 and I have SUPER oily skin. (And I’m not kidding like it’s the oilest skin I’ve seen in my life) At school I feel like crying bc literally everyone else has beautiful matte skin and people are asking me “Why is your nose so shiny?!” I hate my skin so much I try to take care of it tho. (I also have the acne of a typical college student☺️) 😭😭
Excellent informational video and an appropriate length for the educational material covered. I greatly appreciate the time you took in listing all the products used in your video in such a detailed manner. Thank you!!
And of course!!! Don't use make up... I haven't been using make up for almost a year and I love my skin!! At my 30's I have no pimples or scars my pores are much more thinner, but I still have them because of the years of bad skincare
Vitamin E oil is great for the skin!! Our skin actually naturally produces vitamin E and it's present in our sebum, so you can definitely use this on your skin. It's quite heavy and sticky so just a little but goes a long way! 💞- fel
I skin is so bad I post pines posting videos lol Also a question, does lack of sleep or eating unhealthy cause acne? At the NHS they said it doesn’t effect acne. She specifically said I had “Hormonal Acne”.
It really depends on your skin and on the specific products that you're using that contain chemical exfoliants. Some are more gentle like lactic acid or glycolic acid, which could be used every day, but if it's mixed in with chemicals that are a little stronger then perhaps it would be better to use 2-3 times a week. You will see the instructions labelled on the back of each product how often you should use. Stick to that and just remember to always start slow (i.e. use 1 time a week), then when you're skin gets used to it, you can start using more each week 😊Hope this helps a little! - fel
Yes that works fine! 😊You can use the pore tightening toner all over the face. You can gently try to extract the blackheads after the shower with a extractor tool, but don't push hard. If it's ready to come out, the blackhead will easily come out. If nothing comes, then it's not ready! Then follow up with the toner to contract the pore. Hope this helps 😊- Fel
Oh noo, you must've pressed too hard onto your skin! A tip is to gently press, if it doesn't come out with a little pressure then it's not ready and you should force. Also it helps to steam the face a little with warm/hot water to expand the pores so that it can come out easier. Extracting after the shower also works. But just be careful because that's also when the skin is sensitive just don't push too hard on the tool! Hope that helps! 💕 - fel
You probably won’t see this but I saw a comment regarding the length of your videos...PLEASE DONT SHORTEN THEM!! Many viewers and I love and appreciate the in-depth explanations so we know WHY we’re doing what we’re doing and HOW exactly it’s helping us.
Keep doing what you’re doing so we can stay educated and to just include the simplified steps in the description of a pinned comment for others to skim through.
This channel is absolutely amazing and so educational! I’ve learned so much more about how to take care of my skin and how to fix things because you girls address the mistakes people make while trying to do the “DO’s”
ex: I never would’ve known that oily skin types can/should try oil cleansing, but to also not forget to clean off the extra oil because it can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. I’ve seen many people ONLY oil cleanse then complain about how it’s made them breakout...
Okay ladies, what this video gets wrong is that coconut oil is moisturizing, it's NOT, that isn't substantiated by research what so ever. They use personal anecdotes. There is no evidence that any types of oils are moisturizing, They serve as surfactants and emollients in moisturizers, and as double cleansers to help remove dirt and oil from a top layer of the skin. That is it.
hey guys, what do you do with super deep pimples that are very big but buried under the skin and just look like a bump?
i usually dont have any problem with my skin, and used to have beautiful perfect skin... but ever since i moved from israel to germany, my face is terrible, and im having very big deep pimples... i have no idea what to do and im so miserable!
love you girls <3
Maybe the reason why i dont get acnes most of the times is the fact that i hate sweet food like i dont even like chocolate or sweet candies.. also i hate make up so never wear them lol🤔 BIG THANKS TO THESE 2 LOVELY GIRLS FOR GIVING A VERY DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT SKINCARE I REALLY NEED IT😍
